Holy shit. Talk about nostalgia. I’m 36. A tenneager when bands like this were at their biggest. Hundreds of bands I saw at Warped Tour and countless other small venues. New found Glory. Mest. Allister. Lucky Boys Confusion (my favorite of all time, check out Throwing the Game). And dozens of others. But looking back, I can honestly say I don’t think a single song from that era hits harder than those first few seconds of Hotel Room, especially when it comes to taking me back to those times.

i had this song literally set as my alarm for like 3 years after this record came out. ISWSOF has always been my 2nd favorite album from the boys in beards, with RODT being #1 because, i mean...come on. they may have since lost the synth but that album will always be a fucking CLASSIC front to back. i can actually vividly remember the whole day that i first heard that record because it had THAT much of an impact on me. truly one of my favorite bands of all time.
